One Fiber, Three Effects
Silk cocoons naturally contain sericin, a silk protein studied for its moisturizing and antioxidant properties. Once softened in warm water, the cocoon's delicate silk surface provides gentle physical exfoliation, helping lift away dead skin cells and surface impurities. A simple ritual rooted in the natural character of silk.
Raw, Not Processed
Each cocoon is made of one continuous silk filament, wound by the silkworm itself. Nothing is added, nothing is extracted before it reaches you.
Sericin, Released by Water
Warm water softens the cocoon and releases sericin, the natural protein that coats raw silk. It is what gives the ritual its gentleness.
Fine Enough to Exfoliate
The microscopic texture of the fiber lifts away dead skin cells without abrasion, far softer than synthetic scrubs or chemical peels.
Four Minutes, Four Steps
Warm water, three minutes, a rose bud alongside it, if you like. The cocoon opens and softens in your palm.
Slip it over your fingertip. It settles into shape on its own.
Small, slow circles across the face. No pressing, no rushing.
Cool water to close the ritual. One cocoon per ritual is ideal, rinsed and fully dried, it can serve one more.
